With Great Respect and Gratitude to Our Authors, Reviewers, and Readers
Building Bridges Between Scientific Traditions
Dear readers, authors, reviewers, and colleagues,
The development of science across the post-Soviet region has been both complex and challenging. For many years, researchers in our part of the world worked within academic systems that had limited interaction with the broader international scientific community. Access to global research networks, leading databases, modern publishing standards, and international scholarly dialogue was often restricted. This reality is reflected in the experience of many scientific journals that have been published in our countries for decades, yet have remained largely unknown beyond national borders and have achieved only limited international visibility.
Some journals with long and distinguished publication histories have faced significant challenges in reaching global audiences and becoming integrated into major international indexing systems. Consequently, many valuable studies have remained accessible only to a narrow circle of readers, despite their scholarly significance. This historical context has inevitably slowed the integration of our scientific communities into the wider European and North American academic landscape.
Today, however, the demands of modern science require a different approach—one based on openness, cooperation, transparency, and international engagement. For this reason, the mission of the journal Science, Education and Innovations in the Context of Modern Problems (SEI) extends far beyond the publication of research articles.
Our objective is not merely to disseminate scientific findings. More importantly, we seek to establish lasting academic partnerships with distinguished scholars from different countries, to learn from their experience, to encourage the exchange of ideas, and to contribute to the integration of researchers from our region into the global academic community. Achieving this goal requires adherence to the highest standards of contemporary scholarly publishing. Although many institutions in our region are still adapting to rapidly evolving international standards, we believe that continuous improvement and commitment to excellence are essential for long-term success.
In recent years, we have intentionally reduced the number of articles published in our journal in order to focus on quality rather than quantity. Our priority is to identify and publish the most original, methodologically sound, and academically valuable contributions among the many submissions we receive.
We believe that the development of science is possible not only through the dissemination of knowledge, but also through the mutual exchange of scientific traditions, experiences and views. Therefore, our journal strives to become an international scientific platform that brings together authors, experts and researchers from different countries. Scientific cooperation is not just a goal for us, but also a basic condition for future development. Because we believe that success can never be the result of chance.
At the same time, maintaining quality is one of the most important tasks of the editorial board. Every year, hundreds of manuscripts are submitted to our journal from both within the country and abroad. This trust means a great responsibility for us. Each article is carefully evaluated, undergoes a review process and is accepted for publication only if it meets the established criteria in terms of scientific novelty, methodological justification, academic integrity and compliance with the journal's directions.
Of course, it is not possible to publish all submitted articles. Some manuscripts are accepted, while others are rejected. These decisions are never related to the author's personality and should not be perceived as an assessment of his scientific potential. On the contrary, these decisions arise from the journal's commitment to maintaining quality standards and providing readers with reliable and high-quality scientific content. It is known that the most famous scientists in the history of scientific activity have received such rejections. Therefore, we call on our authors to accept critical reviews as an opportunity for development.
The goal of the SEI journal is not to be the journal that publishes the most articles. Our goal is to form an academic platform that is reliable, transparent, open to international cooperation and committed to the principles of scientific integrity. We believe that the future of science lies in cross-border cooperation, mutual respect and knowledge exchange.
We express our sincere gratitude to all the authors who have shown their trust in our journal, to our reviewers who dedicate their valuable time and knowledge to the development of science, to our editorial board members and to our readers who follow us.
We believe that together we will form a stronger, more open, more international and more influential scientific environment.
